NBA tip-off 2021
This week officially starts off the 2021 season of the NBA. After a… less than normal 2020-2021, it’s nice to finally get back to work even though it is mostly remote. And honestly, that’s fine with me. I’m continuing my role as the streaming Producer for TNTOT on NBA.com. If you’re watching the game online, then you’re watching my work. The training for this job started last season during the playoffs, which is obviously a lot of pressure. I was hired to help during the busiest part of the season, and that’s become a running theme for my work experience in general.
Often, I receive a call for a job or new position that I’ve applied for, and I soon find out that I’ll need to “hit the ground running” with little to no training. That’s never been a problem for me, and I’ve genuinely become accustomed to it. It’s a part of my skillset. Another tool on my belt that I carry to every job site. I’ve built a career on starting a new position because someone was either replaced or couldn’t do it alone. “We couldn’t have done it without you.” I’ve heard that phrase enough to know it’s true.
